In mid-December, Bollywood actors Lara Dutta and Dino Morea were spotted with US Basketball superstar Kobe Bryant! The hot couple flew out to Los Angeles, California for an all-access VIP weekend with the Los Angeles Lakers. The couple sat in the VIP box alongside Hollywood A-listers, Jack Nicholson and Andy Garcia!
The stars were also invited to a Lakers practice where they got to meet their favorite player, Kobe Bryant. The NBA star autographed jerseys for them. Dino Morea also got to shoot hoops with the assistant coach of the team during practice!
Dino Morea is now discussing how he can promote basketball in India. He expressed his love for the sport when he commented, ‘I play a lot of basketball so this was an experience like no other- fast-paced, passionate and exhilarating. I think the passion and commitment of the NBA players will really appeal to the Indian audience and I am excited to see more NBA action back home.’
Lara Dutta really enjoyed the game as well, she remarked,’NBA basketball is world-class entertainment that offers something for everyone. The game, the dancers, the fans all combine to create an electric atmosphere. This was a great experience and I hope to attend more games in the near future.’ Lara and Dino sat courtside as Bryant and and Laker teammates took on the Sacramento Kings at the Staples center.

Am jagadek.A state player for karnataka u-16 team.Am from bangalore. I almost dream everyday that n.b.a came to india, an just as the league in the u.s.a. why cant we too have the same kind of league. why give importance to only cricket? why does “INDIA” encourages only plying cricket? why does “INDIA” not encourage our other GAMES? its not the only question from me. it is from all the basketball player’s who are struggling to do everthing they can including me to make this wounderful game a popular one in “INDIA”?

hey, i’m a huge bball fan…i’m in the 12th currently, i played a lot earlier at this academy since my school never had a team for girls…i just wanted to know if you guys plan to promote bball for girls also cz i know many girls who love this game and i dont see anything related to WNBA or bball for girls in general here…
