The Hoops India Movement

The Hoops India Movement is promoting the development of basketball in India, and amongst Indians around the world, through multimedia and high quality events.

Through film, TV, audio, and photography projects, as well as exciting events, camps, and tournaments, Hoops India is showcasing the indigenous talent, style, and views of Indian players, coaches, media, and fans for a national and international audience.

Through our events, grass roots initiatives, training academy, community activities, as well as the our development of multimedia and innovative forms of digital distribution, Hoops India is working to develop and showcase the talent of Indians, and players of Indian and South Asian origin, and will ultimately help Indians develop a stronger presence in the world’s 2nd most popular sport.

I wonder on the fact of how project is expected to attract/identify players who can compete on the NBA level. I dont think they have proper training at this moment and air is not proper for endurance and strength that is needed for NBA

Brilliant work so far. We briefly met in Pune and all collectively noted that Hoops India is off to a very impressive start. Let us hope you will keep it up.

In the past I have regularly seen many enthusiastic beginnings to spread this sport in india, but none have appeared to sustain and survive the test of time.

I hope your efforts and sincere passion for the game will continue. you have my support.
